About Northern Tier Credit Union
Northern Tier
Federal Credit Union is a cooperative, financial institution founded May
6, 1959 to provide a source of credit at reasonable interest rates and
encourage savings from its members by paying a higher than average
dividend. The membership is limited to those falling within a common
bond. The common bond at Northern Tier is anyone living within a 50 mile
radius of Velva and Willow City.
The Credit Union
is a democratic institution with each member holding one vote. The
membership elects the board of directors, who are charged with setting
the policies and the goals of the credit union. The President is
charged with implementing these policies for the day to day operation of
the credit union.

Community Credit Union merger as our 2nd branch. |

All you need to
be a part owner of Northern Tier is an opening deposit of $25.00 or more
and a completed membership application. You and your family retain their
membership privileges even if you change jobs or move to a different
location. Northern Tier's philosophy is "once a member -always a
